Deborah FINEGAN Obituary

FINEGAN - Deborah Nancy
72, of East Amherst, NY, suffered a stroke and passed away on October 29, 2022. Born in Canastota, NY on March 28, 1950, she was predeceased by her parents, Joseph, and Vivian (Duell) Finegan. Deborah is survived by her sister, Patricia LaMont; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Thomas and Cathie Finegan and James Finegan; her Godson, Chris Narolis; several nieces and nephews; several close cousins and relatives; and her chosen family in Buffalo, including Janet McArthur, Karen Delius and Linda Winnicki. Deborah was active in local women's organizations, as well as charities, such as Project Linus. She served as Regional Director NYS Women Inc, which promotes activities/fundraisers benefiting and helping women. Debby loved to travel and brought light and love wherever she went. She will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held on Friday November 11th, 2022, at The Dietrich Funeral Home, 2480 Kensington Ave. Amherst, NY from 9am-11am. A Funeral Service will be held following the visitation on November 11th at The Dietrich Funeral Home at 11am. Please share online condolences at

I was saddened by the news of Debby's passing. I've had the pleasure of working with her on several committees amongst the various guilds here in the WNY quilting community. She will be sadly missed.
