Katie, Mrs. Farrell and Family,
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Mr. Farrell. Your dad was so kind, from always engaging in conversations with us as teens to his calm, familiar presence at the hospital. Running into your Dad at the hospital always made our days brighter! May you find some comfort in God´s love and all of your memories. Sincerely, Merin (Boehm) Troutman

I always enjoyed getting to know Dennis during his visits to his California family, and will never forget the warm welcome he and Jeane gave this distant relative-by-marriage during my first winter in New York. His love of family - the family of blood and the family of mankind - was evident in his being and is a quality he clearly passed on to the children and grandchildren he leaves behind. What a gift, what a legacy.
Sending my love and prayers to the family. - Madeleine

Dear Katie and all the mighty Farrell clan. We are so very sorry to hear you lost your dear dad, Dennis. It was always so nice to see him strolling around Oakland with Dec, wearing his Buffalo cap. It was so obvious how much he loved his visits to Cali and his family. And of course I will never forget how he came to my own mother's wake in your stead. What a wonderful man and huge, huge loss. He left a beautiful legacy, and may his memory always be in your hearts. Sending so much love. Sue and Mo Saito.
