Of Tonawanda Twp., NY, at age 79. Beloved companion of Carol E. Cialone; loving father of Jeremy (Robin), Jamie (Teresa) and Jason (Deanna) Schmitt; cherished son of the late Wibert and Ruth Schmitt; devoted grandfather of Joshua, Emily (Zach), Sienna, Jason Jr., Savannah, Cole and Lola; dear brother of Duane, Beverly (Peter) Liaros and the late Vernon (Shirleen) Schmitt; also survived by nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Charlie. Visitation at the KOLANO FUNERAL HOME, 396 Amherst St. (near Grant) Thursday, December 18th from 4-7PM. If desired, donations in Dennis' memory to Buffalo VA Medical Center are preferred. I'm so very sorry , Dennis was always good to us. When we were kids, he would take my brother Herb and myself fishing on his boat and then stop at the Bedell House and buy us a coke. He was always a good man, always nice, always friendly. Good memories.
