Diane G Cornwell Born 4-23-1960 in Buffalo, N.Y. To Reinhold & Ingaberg Mantik, passed away 11-1-2025 at home in Eugene, Or. Diane will be missed terribly by all who knew her but especially by her loving family, husband W. Greg Cornwell of Oregon, sons William J. Cornwell of Oregon and Michael S. Cornwell (wife Amy) of Maryland, daughters Corinne E. Kiswell (wife Sarah) and Claire E. Cornwell of Oregon as well as three grandchildren, brother Bert Mantik (wife Pam) of California, Mother & Father-in-law James and Carol Cornwell of Kenmore, N.Y., and many brother & sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Diane and Greg left the Buffalo area in 1977 and moved to Denver, Colorado they married, started their family together and where she attended and graduated from college. Diane was passionate about her flower and vegetable gardens and was even featured in the Rocky Mtn. Newspaper for her salsa garden and canning prowess. She loved to cook for and take care of everyone she met making sure no one ever left our home hungry. In 1997 they had a chance to buy Napa stores in Oregon, so they relocated to Eugene, Or. where they ended up owning and operating six stores together before retiring in 2014. After retirement they traveled all over the US and to over forty countries together seeing many old friends and making new ones alone the way as well.
