of East Aurora, NY. June 1, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Annette (nee Meyer); loving father of Renee (Ken) Herr, Brenda Karl, Linette (late Victor) Landa, Donald (Juni) and Ted (Sherry); cherished grandfather of Megan (Mike Feldman) Herr, Emily (Kevin) Kearns, Libby (Dan Azzinaro) Herr, Andrew Sterrett, Aus Asiyo, Lovina Asiyo, Sammi and Vicky Karl; great-grandfather of Madi and Joey Feldman, Benson and Dylan Kearns; adored brother of Dorothy (Albert) Smith and predeceased by Sr. Marion Karl, OSF, Rita (Irv) Hess, Norbert (Marge) Karl and Vera (Robert) Hunold; brother-in-law of the late Paul (Dolores) Meyer, Marie (late Frank) Burkhardt and James (Lorraine) Meyer; dear friend of the late Jane Crowe; survived by many nieces, nephews and friends of East Aurora Senior Center and Canterbury Woods. Family will be present Friday, June 9th 4-8 PM at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 3070 Delaware Ave., Kenmore. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 10 AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel, 4125 Union Rd., Cheektowaga. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora.

It was a great pleasure to sit over coffee and breakfast muffins or dinner with Don here at Canterbury Woods the past three years. Trading stories of family lives have been precious.

I knew Donald for many years at the EA Senior Center. We played cards, and went to shows as a group. He loved to dance and have fun.
Im sorry to hear of his passing, May he rest in Peace.
