Age 72, of North Tonawanda, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at home under the care of Hospice Buffalo. Wife of 53 years to WIlliam J. Kish; mother of Rebecca (Jim Knott) Klamut, Daniel (Diyana) Kish, William (Stephanie) Kish. Doreen was the daughter of the late Ernest Keller and the late Marion (nee Licht) Underwood; step daughter of the late Arnold Underwood; and step daughter of the late Arlene Keller; sister of David (Jean) Underwood, Diane (Vic) Montgomery, Todd (late spouse Shirley) Underwood, Beverly Underwood and Marilyn Brennan; grandmother of Amanda, Jonathan and Thomas Klamut; Monika, Kristiyan, Carter, Everett and Grant Kish and the late baby William Grant Kish. Doreen and Bill were High School sweethearts, both graduating in 1968 then marrying in 1969. Doreen was an executive secretary at Brace, Mueller, Huntley and at the Wurlitzer Company. She went on be a secretary at Canine Helpers for the Handicapped as a volunteer for 25 years. Doreen taught Sunday School at North Presbyterian Church for 20 years. She loved spending time with family and creating beautiful flower gardens. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, October 28th at 11 AM. Everyone is welcome to attend.
