Of Town of Tonawanda, NY. Between those dates, Dorothy shared her warmth, honesty, generosity, and sense of humor with family and friends. She was a talented artist who loved animals, traveling, skiing, and the Buffalo Bills. Dorothy earned her Master's degree from Columbia University in Maternal and Child Health Nursing, and her PHD from UB in Nursing Research and Evaluation, she was a retired Associate Professor of Nursing at D'Youville University. Beloved daughter of the late Magdalene and William George Hoehne. Dear sister of the late Evelyn Solberg and George Hoehne. Loving aunt of Kristine Solberg, Carla (Scott) Gillespie, Anne Marie Solberg (Aric Regal), Jennifer Hoehne, Eric (Heidi) Hoehne, Karl (Erika) Hoehne and the late Billy Hoehne. Private services and interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. or the Humane Society.
