Dad I love you, with All my heart, I was not with you in person when you left, but I was dreaming of you when the call came and in my dream you looked at me and smiled, And then I knew you were gone. But you were happy and im glad. You have and endured many loses and heartaches.in your life time, You and Mom buried a beloved child together, and both of you mourned for a lifetime. I want to say thankyou for all your wonderful stories, of your childhood though hard, you survived, stories of your family, and all the places you have been, thankyou for giving me the love of the sea. But how do I write about A lifetime of memories and tell you thankyou for being the most wonderful Father A girl could ever ask for. God Bless you and keep You Dad I will love You for all eternity, until we are together again I will keep you always in my Heart. Love Kitten Little. May The Smile of God, Light You To Glory

Dad I love you so very, very much. I am so glad that I was there for you whenever you needed me. I am so greatful to God that I was able to be there when you took your last breath with my loving arms wrapped around you. Mom was happy to be there also. She held you hand and calmed you in your final hours. God blessed you 59 years ago with the most wonderful wife any man could hope for.
Your suffer is over with now Dad. God is merciful and kind.
You were orphaned at the tender age of nine. Losing your father first at five and then your beloved mother at nine. Your mothers death devestabed you and you cried many tears your entire life. Even at the age of 83 you still weeped for your mother.
You cried many tears for your brothers and sisters who died many years before you, especially your beloved brother Tom, a decorated WWII Tailgunner Pilot.
You morned the death of your beloved son John William, who passed away 20 years ago. Another death that devested you and you morned his death the remander of your life.
You did your best as a father, never having one for yourself to model after. You spent agonizing years in your youth in orphanages, foster homes and evern out on the streets.
You are reunited once again with your family that you lost and you will also be ever present with the family you have here on earth.
I am so happy for you Dad. I think of the joy that you are surronded by, the love and peace and happiness. I asked John to guide you home as I know he has. You are once again talking with John for endless hours enjoying his company and fishing as you both did for many years as you were not able to do since his death.
I know how much you loved flowers, especially red roses. I remember the many gardens you used to grow. How much you also loved classical music especially Mozart. It filled our house many, many times.
The Ocean was one of your greatest loves; the steam boats you worked on, the Ships you sailed on when you were in the Merchant Marines. Oh how you loved the Ships, never getting sea sick. You swam in the Medditerrian Ocean. You feared no body of water.
I don't have to tell you how much I love you because you already know how much I love you.
God is good
God is merciful and kind
God is great, how great thou art
God is everlasting love
God is in the Sun, the Wind, the Snow and the Rain
God is wonderful
