Mrs. Byrd,
Donte' and I will miss you truly. You were my best friend, mother, comforter when I needed someone to talk to. But, most of all you where truly a good grandmother to Donte'. He asks about you on a daily basis. I find it difficult sometimes explaining to him how the angels flew in and out so suddenly. Donte' loves you and misses you dearly. You were the only gran he ever knew and I appreciate all the love you showed him while you were here. And I'm sure he'll carry that love throughout his life span faithfully. Because he often mentions my gran-ma said she loves me. Truly, I mean Truly you will forever be loved and missed by Donte' and me.

To my family & Aunt Faye....I dont know what I am going to do without you here. I came home, went to the funeral and I STILL cant believe you are not here with us anymore. I was always with you, Dex, Teddy and Bernard, so im going to be lost each time I come home, it will never be the same without you Aunt Faye. I know you are in a better place now, watching over DJ, Alisha & Uncle Byrd and I know they are happy to have you. But what are we going to do without you? I know I sound very selfish. I love you and i miss you sooooooooo much. In the words of Diesal "I love you Aunt Fraye"....lol
Love Always,
Your Great Niece & Great-Great Nephrew Tee & Diesal

Cheryl, it was just a week ago Saturday that we were all together for such a happy occasion. "Aunt Faye" was having such a good and she looked exceptionally pretty that day. I remember watching her dance with your grandson and most of all I will forever remember her words of wisdom...."you know what they were". Words that only a woman of character and a nuturing spirit would give a younger woman. Stay strong, you and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers. Know that scripture tells us "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" I truly believe "Aunt Faye" is with the Lord and that we will see her again. We are family and you know I am just a phone call away. Love you much.

Aunt Faye,
My second rock in my life, I will truly miss all our conversations we had. You taught me to be strong, hold up my head and be proud. Whatever and whenever i needed you i knew you would be there. I hurt bad but i know you are at peace. You made your transition in your sleep "PEACEFULLY AND QUIETLY" and when i got to the hospital you had "PEACE" all over your face because you were now in "GOD'S HANDS". You showed alot of people what "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" met because you extended that to everyone. I'm going to miss you but remember my love for you as i'll remember your love for me. Forever in my heart. Your niece/daughter Cheryl

Bernard,Teddy, and Dexter, Words could never express the shock and sadness I felt when I learned of the passing of your mother. She was such a blessing to me and my family throughout the years. I hope that you all know the magnitude of the impact she had on all of the young people that came up around her. She was the glue that held P.S. #31 for a lot of us-and our children! She was truly an amazing woman and we will miss her dearly. The memories of her life will live on in our hearts forever. During this most difficult time, please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Look to God for His Protection, His Guidance and His Love.God Bless.
