Age 101, passed away on January 21, 2020 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Buffalo, NY on September 21, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Ciminello) Montana. She attended Public School #19 and was a graduate of Annunciation High School. She moved to Niagara Falls in 1947. Frances was married to the late Peter Magaddino who passed away in 1976. She then joined her son, Joseph, in the operation of the Magaddino Memorial Chapel on Niagara Street and Portage Road for 20 years. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church; their Altar and Rosary Society and the Ladies of Charity. She was also a member of the Ladies of the Cristoforo Colombo Society. Frances is survived by her sons, Stefano (Huihui) Magaddino and Joseph (Roseanna) Magaddino; her grandchildren Lana, Joanna and Adriana; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Giana, Quinn, Anthony and Angelina; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Frances was predeceased by her sister, Rose Montana and her brothers, Anthony Montana and Charles Montana. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at Mt. Carmel with Rev. Duane R. Klizek and Rev. Stewart M. Lindsay officiating followed by private interment. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frances are asked to consider Mt.
