(Formerly Sister M. Majella) Died at the Stella Niagara Health Center, Stella Niagara, New York. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (McMahon) Perry. After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy, Buffalo, NY, Sister Frances Clare entered the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity on September 2, 1947 and was professed August 18, 1950. She taught in New York at St. Ann School, Buffalo; St. Lawrence School, Buffalo; St. Peter School, Lewiston; St. Joseph School, Gowanda; and in Ohio at Sacred Heart School, Columbus; St. Leo School, Columbus; St. Rose School, New Lexington; St. Bernadette School, Lancaster; and St. Mary School, Delaware. After retiring in 2000, she volunteered at Columba-Brigid Montessori School in Buffalo, NY and Francis Center, Niagara Falls, NY. She became a resident of the Stella Niagara Health Center in 2012. Besides her parents, Sister Frances Clare was predeceased by Sister Mae Perry, RSM, Edward J. Perry, Sister Lurana Perry, RSM, Eugene T. (Norma) Perry, John A. (Mary Ann) Perry, Sister Rose Perry, OSF, Patricia A. (Joseph) Hinterberger, Nelson J. (Mary) Perry, Robert L. Perry, and Ursula A. Perry. Sister Frances Clare is survived by her sister, Anna Perry, many nieces and nephews as well as her Sisters in the Stella Niagara Community. Wake at Stella Niagara on Wednesday, June 19 from 6-7pm with a prayer service at 7:00PM and Mass of Christian Burial in the Sister's Chapel on Thursday, June 20 at 10:00AM.
