Of Hamburg, NY. Beloved husband of 65 years to Mildred "Millie" (nee Kaczmierczak) Zimmerman; loving father of Sharon and Francine; cherished grandpa of Evangelista and Vada Therese; dear brother of Paul, late Lawrence and late Michael Zimmerman; also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Zimmerman was the President of the Buffalo Chapter of the Blue Army. Fran also was a member of the Third Order Franciscans, Holy Name Society, and Comfort My People Ministries. He also retired from the US Post Office and the Frontier School District. The family will be present on Friday from 4-7PM at the (Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3450 South Park Ave. The Rosary will be said at Corpus Christi Church, 199 Clark St., Buffalo, NY 14212 on Saturday morning at 9:40AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on 10AM. (Please assemble at the Church). Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14225. Please share condolences at www.kaczorfunerals.com
