Founder and past owner of Perna Funeral Home, Inc., died peacefully in his home on January 23, 2022. Husband of Mary "Dee" (DiNatale); dear father of Anthony, MD (Susan) Perna, Mary Ann (Kenneth), Jarvis, Salvatore, DDS (Juli) Perna, Constance (Mark Janik) Perna; papa of Brian Wilhelm, Marielle (Randy), Calhoun, Lauren, Pharm., D (Michael), Petroziello, MD, Frank Perna, Lindsay (Wes Bruer) Perna, Kristina (Zachary) Dailey, Anthony Perna, Esq., Brianna (Jonathon) Velez and the late Nicole Pellegrino; great-grandfather of five; brother of Rose (Joseph) Scro. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be private for immediate family only. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from St. Gregory the Great Church on Friday at 10:30 AM. Followed by a private interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. To the family of Frank my condolences, just remembering as a kid Perna funeral home sponsored many a baseball team's of the west side of buffalo and just wanted to thank you for your interests of the people and kids on the west side and that my mother worked at the home for many years as a cleaning lady at the home on Plymouth and Massachusetts her name was Teresa Zimmett, again my prayers go out to Frank and the family
