Beloved wife of the late Carlton Steward. Loving mother of Pamela (Brian) Fischer, Michele Steward, Emily (Adam) Conner and the late Todd and Sean Steward. Cherished grandmother of Kelsey (David) Sobczak, Alisha Leif, Mason, Lincoln, and Cooper Conner. Devoted great-grandmother of Dahlia and Finn Sobczak. Dear sister of Gary, Howard, Carol, John and Richard Pope, Sharon Kilburn and the late Karen Gregg. Also survived by nieces and nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 1-4 PM at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226 where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 4 PM. Gail I will so miss our chats as I style your hair. I met Gail at Smallwood school as we shelved books for the kids. I did the lower shelves because it was a bit hard for Gail to get down on the floor. We hit it off immediately and she stared to come get her hair styled. I also got Very sound advice about teenagers! My kids were still in elementary and Emily highschool. Well her advice was very useful we talked about it often. Gail was one of my favorite people ,she and I would giggle about life and she would always be a wonderful listener. I miss you my friend. God bless you and rest in peace my friend

I´m so sorry to hear this. I have many wonderful memories of Aunt Gail, especially when we were all kids at grandma and grandpa´s house.
