When someone loses a loved one who has meant so much for so many years, it's hard to know how to express sympathy and comfort. We can only say that because all of you are so important to us your sorrow touches us deeply. Please know how much we care.

My friend, I will always remember our fun and your goofy laugh. Our sailing/cruises were the best! Our bbq grill is still at the bottom of Matlachea pass. I will also remember your strength and kindness. As I listen to Buffet's songs, I will raise a glass to you. Sail on, dear friend. We will miss you on this side.

We first met Gary as the real estate guy who sold a bunch of condos to us misplaced Bostonians. Gary was a huge fan of Charlotte High School Tarpons and the Charlotte Stone Crabs. We attended games regularly. My favorite memory is at a birthday party for him, there were a lot of pretty ladies that came over to him and gave him a kiss and wished him well. I told Gary, "You are quite the chick magnet" to which he replied, "Its the cane Steve, chicks dig the cane." Sail on my friend, sail on.
