My heartfelt condolences to all of George's family and friends. I will always cherish the two short years during which I had the privilege to work with him at UB LIS. He was a wonderful mentor, scholar, and colleague. I shall miss him terribly.

I'm sending my thoughts and prayers to Dr. D'Elia's family and friends at this time. I had Dr. D'Elia for two classes and learned more from him than a mere thank-you could ever repay, but thank-you all the same.

My sincere condolences to all of Dr. D'Elia's loved ones. I was in one of his classes a year ago and before that I shared many a conversation with him while I was a GA in DLIS. He was an incredibly bright man and had a great deal of knowledge to share with those around him. I would like to think that if he had one last request of all of us it is that we should go forward in life trying as best we can to speak with a "Sentorian voice."
Thank you, Dr. D'Elia...you will be missed. :)
