George is survived by his loving sister Jean (late David) Willard, cherished companion of Pat Sneck; devoted father of Janine (Rich Ernestine) Unger, Geoffrey (Danielle) Unger; cherished grandfather of Alex and Karissa Ernestine; dear uncle of Donald (Molly), Kenneth (Heather) and James (Angela); also survived by many great-nieces and nephews as well as many long time friends. Tomorrow will be two weeks since George entered into rest. He was such a wonderful man and the love of my life for almost 27 years. George was also loved and admired by my family and friends and will be sadly missed. Always on our minds and forever in our hearts.

My condolences to George's family. George and I were boyhood friends and Kendale neighbors. Growing up together, we both attended St. Al's and Bishop Turner HS. I have many fond memories of playing, hunting, going to and from school with George. I am deeply saddened by his passing
