Beloved wife of the late Frank Zinter. Loving mother of Paul (Donna) Zinter, Carl Zinter, Richard (Barbara) Zinter and Christine "Tina" (Russ) Zinter-Chahin. Loving grandmother of Tricia, Nicholas (Maggie), Stephen (the late Erica), Christopher (Liz), Lauren (Ben), Alex (Lily) and Eric (Caile), and 9 great-grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law of Irine (the late Robert) Zinter and the late Alfred (the late Norma) Zinter. Pre-deceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She passed away peacefully at 103 years of age after enjoying a life rooted in her deep Catholic faith. She enjoyed many summer trips to the Adirondak Mountains, especially Blue Mountain Lake and Chautauqua. She also enjoyed weekly Scrabble games, playing Pinochle and most of all time spent with her family. A visitation will take place on Thursday December 19, 2024 from 3-7pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11am at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Church, 157 Cleveland Dr., Cheektowaga, NY 14215. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Mary of Namur at The St. Mary Center, 241 Lafayette Ave., Buffalo, NY 14213. Online condolences may be placed at www.TheDietrichFuneralHome.com.
