McKEON - Gladys R. (nee Herman) Age 97, of East Amherst, NY, entered into rest February 20, 2011 in Elderwood Senior Care at Maplewood, preceded in death by her beloved husband, John T. McKeon on January 30, 2000; loving mother of Patrick J. (Peggy) McKeon of Akron, NY; cherished grandmother of Marni A. (Neil) Chur, Jr. of Naples, FL, Ryan Patrick (Sondra) McKeon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Tyler James (Erica) McKeon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, George Michael (Cara) Matchak of Orlando, FL, Meghan E. McKeon of Miami, FL, Patricia A. McKeon of Kenmore, NY and Kelsey Ann McKeon of Naples, FL; dearest great-grandmother of Peyton, Tyson, Cooper, Bryce, Rylea, Mallory, Madison and Cailyn; sister of the late Ethel (Joseph) Hein; aunt of Raymond Hein of East Aurora, NY and the late Bud and Richard Hein. No prior calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy made to The SPCA, Ensminger Rd., Tonawanda, NY would be appreciated by the family. Mrs. McKeon was a graduate of Bryant & Stratton Business School of Buffalo and was employed for many years as a Legal Secretary for various attorneys in the Buffalo area.
