Of Buffalo, NY. We regretfully announce the passing of Grace M. Johnson, who took her final rest at her home in Buffalo, NY. Grace is survived by a son, William Johnson, IV (Linda) of Grand Island, NY, daughter, Valerie C. Johnson of Chicago, IL, granddaughter, Brianna Johnson-Callicut (Jamaal) of Memphis, TN, grandson, Edwin Williams (Danielle) of Dixfield, ME, and two nieces: Arlinda M. Fulton and Renee Phillips of Winston Salem, NC. The deceased did not desire a funeral or memorial and will be cremated at the John E. Roberts Funeral Home on 280 Grover Cleveland Highway, Amherst, NY 14226. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Grace was the very first person I saw when I came back from the Middle East. She was waiting for me at the Niagara Falls Reserve Center. After nine months over in the desert, as soon as I saw her. I knew I was home.

Grace and I have been friends for 35 years. Met her at a home improvement store. We made a lot of memories with each other.
In 1991, I got called to active duty with the US ARMY Reserves.
I was in the Middle East for nine
months. I was stationed in the country of OMAN.
When we were finished and came home to the USA, Grace was the first person I saw when we came home. I will never forget that day. We cried. I was so happy to be home. My family was there also. We all went out for a great lunch that was provided for everyone.
It certainly was nice to be with my very great friend Grace Johnson again. I will never forget her.

I have known Grace for more than 35+ years. She was my best friend. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. A piece of my heart will go with her.
