Of Amherst, NY; age 98. Beloved husband of the late Gladys E. (nee Funk) Spielberger. Devoted father of Don (Renee) Spielberger and Paul (Megan) Spielberger. Cherished grandfather of Otto Spielberger. Dear brother of the late Werner Spielberger and Herbert Spielberger. Hans was a former Agent with the New York State Department of Transportation. Condolences to the family of Hans Spielberger. He was a very much loved gentleman and very generous. May he rest in peace with his lovely wife Gladys.

I met Hans two years ago when I moved into Forest Creek at Weinberg Campus. He was so friendly and helpful. He gave me a map of the building so I wouldn't get lost. He and Gladys were such a sweet, loving couple. Hans and I volunteered to show the weekly Saturday matinee. He always was able to get the DVD player hooked up to the TV with his magic remote control. He was a good friend and I miss him very much.
