Harriet Switzgable Obituary

Harriet "Sis" Switzgable was born in Buffalo, NY to William Kay and Agnes Anderson. She attended Bennett High School and graduated in the class of 44. During the war, Harriet supported the war effort by assembling wings on airplanes after finishing high school classes. After the war Harriet went to work at AT&T and married Henry "Harry" Switzgable in 1950. They would have a wonderful marriage of 72 years and would have two children, Jim (Debra) Switzgable and Heidi (Jim) Jaeger. Harriet is also survived by grandchildren Matthew Switzgable, Major Sam Jaeger, James "Alex" Switzgable (Mallory), Annie Jaeger and great grandchild Delilah Switzgable. After retirement, Sis and Harry moved to Florida with their Buffalo friends but would always find time to return to Buffalo. During the last days of her life, Sis was surrounded and comforted by her children, grandchildren and great grandchild. There are no services planned at this time.
