Beloved husband of the late Anna (Pokigo) Kusmierczyk; dearest father of Joanne (Robert) Rand and Ronald; son of the late Lawrence and Jozefa (nee Dec) Kusmierczyk; brother of the late Walter (late Mary), Viola (late Joseph) Milano, Robert (late Helen), Kay, Florence (late John) Panczykowski, Stanley (late Helen) and Helen (late Martin) Dulak; brother-in-law of the late Joseph (late Mary) Pokigo, Jenny (late Frank) Iafaillo. Family and friends may call at THE COLONIAL MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC., 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna, NY, Sunday, 4-8 PM. Prayers Monday, 10 AM with Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Victory Basilica at 10:30 AM. Mr. Kusmierczyk was a member of VFW Post #898, Matthew Glab Post #1477, 82nd Airborne and 11th Airborne Division Association (The Angels).

Joanne & Ron - so sorry to read about your Dad's passing. I remember him and my Dad sitting on one of our front porches, talking away (usually loudly) and sharing so many stories. He was a good man and friendly neighbor. May he rest in peace and may Gold hold you and your families tight as you grieve.

Uncle Hank was our real life hero who deserved that title because of who he was as a man and the amazing person he was. We would like to pass along our most sincere condolences to Joanne, Bob and Ronnie and hope you know how much of an impact he made on so many lives and he will continue to impact for generations. Stay strong and know we love you all so very much.
