Mazur, Jacqueline A. (nee DePasquale) of Lackawanna, Entered into rest December 5, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Daniel L. Mazur Sr; Devoted mother of Paula Mazur, Daniel Mazur Jr, Cheryl (Robert) Tuite and Jacqueline (John) Longo; Cherished grandmother of Anna (Benjamin) Zimmerman, John (Tricia) Longo, Shaylyn (Maurice) Clark, Ryan (Rachel) Longo, Natalie (Zak) Garrehy, Karilyn (Connor) Bryant and great-grandmother of eight great grandchildren; Loving daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline (nee Ginnetti) DePasquale; Dear sister of the late Irene, late Gerald, late Anthony. Also survived by relatives and friends. Relatives and Friends may visit The Colonial Memorial Chapels 3003 South Park Ave. Lackawanna on Thursday, December 18th and Friday, December 19th from 3-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Basilica 767 Ridge Rd. Lackawanna on Saturday, December 20th at 10:30am. Please assemble at church. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.

What can I say about my Great-Aunt Jackie? She was a lovely woman with a gentle spirit and a deep, abiding faith. As a young girl, I would call her up on Saturdays and ask if I could come over and I would get to spend the whole day with her & Uncle Dan. We would bake brownies and sing together. Lord knows she & I were always singing! I remember when Uncle Danny was in his "bread machine baking phase," & she confided to me, "Oh, Andrea, he's making me crazy with all of this bread he's making!" She said it on a laugh. As I got older, I spend less and less time with them, as happens, and I regret not spending more. Family was her everything and she was so proud of her children and their accomplishments, and of her grandchildren. I remember when each grandchild was on the way and how excited she & Uncle Danny were! Her grandchildren were truly her treasures. I am so blessed to have been able to spend the time with them both that I did. I know she as at peace in heaven, surrounded with her loving family that preceded her, and singing with the angels. Until we meet again, Aunt Jackie... love always, Andrea Jane.
