Thought of you yesterday with fondness, while paddling at Hanging Bog, grateful for the education you shared about its pond. Your endearing nature is missed.

I will always remember Jim's words of wisdom to me - "I teach you everything I know & you still know nothing !! " Fortunatly I learned much from Jim and I am a better person because of him. The light of the world got dimmer on July 11th. A great man who will be missed ! Rest in Peace

There'll be not a time we hear a bird or savor autumns spirit or delight in fresh fallen snow that you'll not be with us Jim.

Even through illness, Jim never complained and was a strong
advocate for organ donation and the outdoors.
His personality and character will be greatly missed.

Jim was an avid nature lover who spent many years traveling for outdoor adventures and was a wealth of nature knowledge. He was a longtime volunteer for Earth Spirits and a vocal advocate for their mission. Health problems interfered with his ability to get out to play the past few years. But no matter how ill, one could guarantee he would share his wit and nature stories whenever you talked. Jim's positive attitude in the face of poor health was inspirational.
He will be sorely missed.
RIP, Jim. <3

I worked with Jim at Tops in the Technology department. We had so many good times and I valued his advice.
He will be missed, he was a great guy and one of a kind.
