Beloved husband of Cynthia T. Cercone; dear father of Caroline (Benjamin) Dudeck, Emily Cercone, Justyn (Maria) Dudeck and Jeanette (Louis) Pilie; grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother of Patricia A. (late Frank) Michel and Lawrence E. (Phyllis) Dudeck; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dudeck was a treasured physics teacher at Lafayette High School for 34 years. Family and friends may call at the DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY 14051 on Thursday (December 18, 2025) from 3-6pm, where a Life Remembered Service will be held at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, financial contributions, or blood or platelets donations, may be made in Jame's memory to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Buffalo, NY. I loved Mr. Dudeck's classes. I believe I had him twice in 1968 for Physical Science and 1972 for Physics. His classes were always fun and I frequently made him laugh. He was a wonderful teacher whom I will never forget. My sincere condolences to all of the Dudeck family.

Mr. Dudeck was one of my very favorite teachers at Lafayette. He made science fun, and I learned so much in his class.
