To The Mooney Family,

Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of Mr. Mooney. I will always remember how nice he was in keeping a watchful eye on my Dad when he was in the nursing home at the same time as Mrs. Mooney.
It was our honor to take him to Washington to see the memorial built to honor his sacrifice for our freedom. I will remember how thoughtful he was in presenting us a gift for our efforts in getting the Honor Flights off the ground.

He was bigger than life itself and will be greatly missed by all those than knew him.

May the blessing of grace be with his soul.

Dear Sue and Rob:

It was an honor and privilege to have escorted Mr. Mooney to see his memorial on our very first flight June 5, 2010. He was truly one of the "Greatest Generation".

I enjoyed my visits and conversations with him. He always made me laugh. He was a huge supporter of Honor Flight Buffalo and even in his death he continues.

He will be sorely missed. My sympathy to the Mooney Family. You all and Mr. Mooney will be in our thoughts and prayers. May your memories you shared ease your pain through the difficult days ahead.
