Janet PHILLIPS Obituary
Age 76, of Silver Springs passed away on November 8, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 18,1944 in Smethport, PA. A daughter to the late Melvin V. and Elizabeth M. (Sweet) Tenglund-Hull. Janet was a retired registered nurse and elementary school teacher. She is survived by her husband, David Phillips whom she married on April 24, 1974; daughter, Sarah (William) Marsh; sons, Charles S. "Chip" (Kate Welshofer) Matthews II, David (Judy) Phillips II, Tedd (Julie) Phillips, Andrew (Joy) Phillips, Vern (Laurie) Phillips; father-in-law, Calvin Phillips; 18 grandchildren; two nieces, Melissa and Amanda along with many dear friends. Along with her parents she was predeceased in death by her first husband, Charles S. Matthews who passed away in 1970; son-in-law, Ryan Almeter; daughter-in-law, Sarah Matthews; brother, Gerald Tenglund; and step father Robert J. Hull. Family and friends may call from 12 PM-2 PM, on Saturday November 13th, at the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church, 3415 Rt. 19 S, in Warsaw, where services will follow at 2 PM.
