Jean Leiner Obituary
September 6, 1943 - November 9, 2025
Unexpectedly entered the kingdom of Heaven. She was the beloved wife of Paul for 59 years. She was the daughter of Dorothy Wallace, and is survived by her brother Larry (Ann) Wallace, children Paul (Sue), Betsy (George), grandchildren Bethany, Michael and Tiffany (JR), and great-grandchildren Jonny, Paisley and Lola. She graduated from Kenmore West and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Buffalo State College. Jean touched the lives of thousands as an English teacher in several Buffalo high schools for 33 years and then after retirement, delivered Meals on Wheels and did Radio Reading for the vision impaired. She was an avid reader and loved books and having her cats and dogs in her lap while reading. In lieu of contributions, please read a book. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring at the convenience of the family.
