Of the City of Tonawanda, passed away peacefully at age 93. Wife of 62 years to the late J. Joseph McNeill who died in 2019; mother, of Joseph (Irene) McNeill, Maureen (Richard) Napoli, Marcia (Mark) Saltarelli, and the late James (living spouse Jill) McNeill; grandmother, of Erin (Bo), Sara (Mike), Hilary, Lukas (Jill), Rachel (Bethany), JJ, Mark, Adam, Kyle, Emily and Patrick; great-grandmother, of Connor, Max, Lucy and Rosie; daughter of the late Melvin and Gertrude Greene. Predeceased by her sister Mary and her brothers James, John, Richard, William, Pierce and Donald. Also many nieces and nephews. Jean was a lifelong member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church in Tonawanda and was an active member of St. Francis Bishop Committee and CCD. She was also a proud member of the Rum Dum Card Club. A special thanks go to her caregivers, Suzette, Kristin, Sue Ann, and Linda. Calling hours will be held on Friday September 12, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., between Morgan and Broad Sts., City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 13, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in OLC RC Church, 57 Center St., corner of Oliver St., in North Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Robert Orlowski will officiate. Please assemble at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in memory of Jean may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries, 2660 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda, N.Y. 14150. Joe and family I am So sorry for your loss , your mom was once my religious instructions teacher and your father my scout leader , fond memories of both, I will always remember camping in the winter with your dad and his bag of chew, best of days RIP folks
