Otis, Jeanne M. (nee Minor)

Jan 30, 1931 - Jul 4, 2025

Age 94, of Wheatfield, entered into rest on July 4, 2025. Beloved wife of 47 years to the late Kenneth N. Otis; devoted mother of David L. (Valerie) Otis and Diane L. (Stephen) Elliott; cherished grandmother of William Allen Landon Jr., George Kenneth Landon and Mary Elizabeth Landon; and loving daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth (nee Bischoff) Minor. Jeanne retired from Buffalo General Hospital as a Charge Nurse in the Surgery Department after 43 years of service. She was a lifelong summer resident of Long Beach, Ontario, Canada. Jeanne was also very dedicated to the Towne Players Community Theater in Tonawanda. She was also a head usher at the Studio Arena Theater in Buffalo and an usher at the Showboat Theater in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. A Celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1080 Main St., Buffalo, on Saturday, September 27th at 10 a.m., (please assemble at church). Private inurnment at Bath National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeanne's memory to the Wendt Organ Fund at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
