My husband Peter and I were so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Unfortunately, we weren't aware of her death until last Tuesday evening and would have liked to attend the memorial service, but when we contacted Blocher to see how Jean was doing, my husband was told she had died, and they weren't aware of any plans for any services.
Jean was a very special friend to my mother-in-law, Josephine, and I know she was upset in August to learn Josie had passed on. Her comment to us was that my mother-in-law was her last friend.
My daughters both have special memories of "Aunt Jean" and will definitely remember her every year at Christmas as they hang unique ornaments on their trees that Jean has given them over the years.
