It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerome "Jerry" Grasso at the age of 87. Born in Buffalo, Jerry was a cherished member of the Batavia community. He is survived by his loving children, Nancy (Michael) Piscitello of Colden, Lisa (Steven) Grice of Batavia, and Jay Grasso of Spencerport. Jerry also leaves behind six beloved grandchildren: Matthew (Jesse Funk) Piscitello, Alex (Randi) Grice, Zachary (Rika) Grasso, Casey (Ashley) Grice, Nicholas Grasso, and Hailey Grasso; his two sisters, Elizabeth Grasso and Sister Ann Marie Grasso of Buffalo, along with many nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Maxine A. Baszczynski Grasso in 2010, his parents, Anthony and Antoinette DiChristina Grasso, his daughter Nadine Grasso Netter in 2009, his granddaughter Cara Piscitello in 2018, and his brother, Anthony Grasso. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 9:30 am at Ascension Parish, 15 Sumner Street, Batavia. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Crossroads House, P.O. Box 403, Batavia, NY 14021, to Genesee Cancer Assistance, Inc., 127 North Street, Batavia, NY 14020 or to Michael Napoleone Foundation, PO Box 267, Batavia, NY 14021.
