Joan CASEY Obituary
March 6, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Casey, Jr.; devoted mother of Moira (Robert) Heubusch, Carol (John Greenlees) Casey, Robert E. (Lisa) Casey III; loving grandmother of Michael, Thomas, Katherine, Mary Clare, Margaret, and Robert; sister of Roger (late Anne) Wittig; sister-in-law of Mary Anne Casey; also survived by nieces and nephews. Joan was a devoted teacher, committed volunteer and joyful singer. No prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM, by St. John the Baptist Chapel, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore (please assemble at the chapel). Flowers gratefully declined. Dear Moria, Carol and Robbie,
I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember your mom very well, at least from a little girl's perception. I remember on a rainy day (we were probably driving her crazy) your mom put ordinary things in a cloth bag and we would have to " feel" what the item was so as to occupy us for the time being. I remember how I really liked that. She was a true teacher for all of us. My heart goes out to you all. Please keep all the good memories close at hand in the days ahead. I am so sorry for your loss.
