John P. Boblak

87, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Buffalo, NY, April 23, 2003, husband of the late Henrietta (Kalicki) Boblak; son of the late Mary (Zengierski) and John Boblak; father of Mary Boblak of Kenmore, NY, Elaine (Clark) Stewart of Washington, DC and Louise (David) Rusinak of Wethersfield, CT; grandfather of Unnathi and Chandana Boblak, Anne Rusinak; great-grandfather of Peter Neureuther; brother of Vera Frandsen, Florence Zastempowski, Amelia Wieclawski, Frank Boblak and the late Genevieve Bielicki, Frances Blesso, Victoria Boblak and Irene Miller; also survived by many nieces and nephews and a dear friend Katherine McDermott. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 25 at 10:30 AM at St. Charles Boromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte. A Memorial Mass will be held in Buffalo at a later date. John owned and operated the John P. Boblak Hardware Store in Buffalo for 37 years prior to retiring to Florida in 1987.
