Uncle John, you were one of the men in our family I aspired to be like. A great leader, a great uncle and a true Braun. The experiences and memories I shared in your company will never leave. Much love and prayer, your nephew.

My dearest big brother and friend. I will miss you so much. I value all the things I learned from you through the years. And recognize all the times you were here when I needed you most. I hope I said thank you. I love you. God speed until we meet again.

John, you were a generous brother. I'll always remember our visit with you in Hawaii and especially taking hula lessons with you. What a great sport! I never heard a complaint during your illness. You were a great model for all the family as you maintained your positive attitude. I'll miss you. Be at peace. God bless!
