Born in Buffalo, New York on November 14, 1937, to John and Ruth Dietrich deceased. He passed away on October 31, 2024. He was 86 years old. John is predeceased by his wives Phyllis Bak Dietrich and Marilyn Hillig. He has four brothers. Peter deceased, Ronald and wife Renee, Edwin deceased, and Gregory. He is survived by his daughter Darlene Wilder and her husband Jim. His son Dwight Dietrich wife Cheryl and granddaughters Emily and Sara. His Son-in-Law Troy Salley wife Denise deceased. Grandson Troy Salley wife Becca and two great grandson's Ronin John and Micah. Sisters in law Shirley Erb, Kathy Green and Ellen Withington. John also has many lifelong friends, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins. A very special Thank-you to Ron and Renee for welcoming John into their home during the last two years of his life. Funeral Mass is scheduled for August 8, 2025, at St Amelia Church, 2999 Eggert Rd, Tonawanda NY. The internment is at Acacia Park Cemetery at 11:45 a.m., 4215 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda. Lunch to follow at Fieldstones Country Inn, 5986 S Transit Rd., Lockport NY.
