GAMBINO - John Jr. Of Buffalo/West Side, entered into rest July 31, 2011, beloved husband of the late Rosella (nee Knickerbocker) Gambino; devoted father of John III (Liz) Gambino, Sandra (George) Snyder, Elizabeth (Thomas) Fallon, Anthony (Wilna) Gambino, Catherine (David) Scherrer and Robert (Maria) Gambino; cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren; loving son of the late John and Josephine (nee Gandolph) Gambino; dear brother of Steven (Virginia) Gambino; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday from 4-8 PM where prayers will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church (Annunciation Church) at 10 o'clock. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery where John will receive full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227 in John's name. Mr. Gambino served in the U.S. Army.
