Age 72 of North Tonawanda. Son of the late Elizabeth Guido Amato and the late Michael Guido and stepson of the late James Amato. Husband of Cynthia V. (nee Casseday) Guido, father of Marie (Zachary) Guido-Miner and J.W. Guido, predeceased by his partner Deborah Sepielli and survived by her son Jonathan Spielli, brother of Alfred (Grace) Guido and the late Theodora (late Leonard) Tatford, Robert (living spouse Sally) Guido and Michael (living spouse June) Guido. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, golf and drinking buddies, co-workers and many many friends. John graduated from Bishop Gibbons High School, Akron University and received his CPA from the University of Buffalo. He worked in his family Accounting business with his step-father James Amato. John took over the firm James Amato & Company when James retired. The firm became Amato Fox & Co., later to become Allied Financial Services. He enjoyed golfing, especially with his son J.W. He also loved boating and a good party. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of John may be made to Gates Vascular Inst. at Buffalo General Hospital or to Niagara Hospice.
