It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of John Francis Kloth at the age of 72. John was born in Mendon, Massachusetts to Victor and Adele Kloth. He grew up in Trotwood, Ohio with his siblings Richard (2024), Terry (Susan), Kelly (Kim), Kim (John), Jeff (Justine)2023). He was a devoted father, husband, son, and brother survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandy, and his children, Kara Wilkinson (Matt), Meghan Gattie (Kevin), and Jennifer Jerrell (Brian). Papa to Nora, Kaelyn, Connor, Levi, and Silas. John was known for his work ethic, generous spirit, sense of humor, and resilience. He worked as a property manager and business owner, dedicating himself to his work with passion and commitment. He found great joy in boating, fishing, and cruising in his Corvette. His legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the love he shared, and the memories cherished by all who knew him. Visitation on Saturday, July 12th from 11:00-2:00 at NORMAN E. GANNON & SONS, Inc. FUNERAL HOME, 1075 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna (716-824-4000). All are welcome to attend and celebrate John's life. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of John may be directed to support esophageal cancer at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Please make checks payable to Johns Hopkins University.
