Entered into rest August 1, 2023. Beloved father of the late John "Jason" Loughran, Jr.; dear brother of Marita (Gary) Ronald, Katie (Bernie) Dolan, James (Laura) Loughran, Thomas (Angela) Loughran, Nancy Loughran, Elaine (Bob) Vespucci, Robert (Jeanie) Loughran and Debbie (Jeff) Herman; loving son of the late Vincent and Patricia (nee Healy) Loughran; devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jay was a retired plumber for the City of Buffalo. Family and friends may visit The DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, 2480 Kensington Ave., Amherst, NY on Friday from 3 - 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St. Williamsville, NY on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jay's honor to hospicebuffalo.com. Online condolences may be made at

A true legend / it´s such a helpless feeling.
Last thing I said to him was this is the last time you´re ever going to see me. I´ll never say that to anyone again.
That giant anonymous Flower display was not from me.
All your family always treated me as family. JAY was the first one of you I knew. The Loughran family made my life a better one. I think a big Family vacation here in Cabarete Dominican Republic would do you all good.
