McInerney , John Joseph "Jack"

Dec 6, 1941 - Nov 3, 2025

Of Fleming Island, FL, passed away on November 3, 2025. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Suzanne Ruth and a father to: Therese (Michael) Ball; Scott (Kerry); Colleen (Brent) Hillerich; Kerri (Joel) Chase; and Melissa (Paul) Stanukinas. Grandfather to: Kristin, Courtney, and Kyle Ball; Brady and Devin McInerney; Bart, Tristan, Grady and Quinn Hillerich; Kerrigan, Elizabeth, and Caden Chase; Noah and Gannon Stanukinas. Great-Grandfather to Aubrey and Easton Ball, Lyla Buchanan, and looking forward to the arrival of another great-granddaughter. A proud native of Buffalo, NY, Jack was loyal to God, his family, his country, the Yankees, and his beloved Buffalo Bills and Sabres. Jack retired from 3M, earning six Top Producer awards. He was a proud inductee into the WNY Softball Hall of Fame. In addition to softball he enjoyed golfing and referring basketball. No prior visitation will be held. A memorial mass at Holy Spirit R.C. Church, 85 Dakota Street, Buffalo, NY, on December 20, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Jack requested that you honor his memory by cheering for the Buffalo Bills, watching a Yankees game, enjoying a pancake breakfast, or making a donation to one of his two favorite organizations: the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Sincere condolences to the McInerney family. Jack and I attended St. Joe's together and shared many enjoyable moments at that school. We also got into many kinds of
mischief while at St. Joe's. He will be missed.
