Age 78, of the City of Tonawanda, April 1, 2003, after a brief illness. Husband of the late Helen T. (nee Harding) Cassata; father of Judge Joseph J. (Joyce) Cassata Jr., James 'Rick' (Diane) Cassata and Mary Ellen C. (Jon) Holler; grandfather of Dana, Joseph K. (Martha), Roman, Justin, Jason, Brett, Marel, Jonathan and Ricky; great-grandfather of Ariel, Mia, Dominic and Alexis; brother of Mamie Calabrese and the late Rose DiRosa; brother-in-law of Dorothy Oddo; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday from 4-9 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, 150 Broad St., City of Tonawanda, Friday, April 4th at 9:30 AM. Friends invited. Please assemble at church.
