I just learned about Joe's passing. It breaks my heart. Joe worked with my Dad at Sentry Insurance for years. It was there that he also met my sister who worked at Sentry for a while. Joe became a family friend to our whole family. He helped my dad and sister move me from Austin, TX to Phoenix in 1997. He was around for celebrations, and as my sister and I had children, Joe was always there to pass on a Chrsitmas gift for each of them each year. He spoke at my dad's memorial and was one of his closest friends. I will always remember his boisterous laugh and him saying, "Jesus, Joseph, and Mary...!" The last time I saw Joe was in the summer of 2023 at my sister's memorial. It was difficult for him to get there, but in typical Joe fashion, he made it. I will always love Joe and remember him fondly. My condolences to his entire family. I wish I could have said goodbye to Joe and let you all know how much he was loved by our family.

I just received back the Christmas card and letter I sent to Joe which led me to check legacy.com. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing and send my deepest condolences to his sisters and extended family. Alan, Danielle and I are heartbroken.

Though I don't know ye, I knew Joe. Shared lots of laughter, spring training baseball, and beer. Thoughts and prayers.

Jack, Maureen and Teresa,
I was very sorry to learn that Joe died recently. I offer you my deepest condolences. Growing up on Ridgewood Joe was one of the funniest guys in the neighborhood. And I had the pleasure of spending time with him during years at Timon and Canisius. I hadn´t seen Joe in many years but I´d hear about him or think of him once in a while and it always, always made me smile.
You probably have a lifetime of stories about Joe and you´ll hear many more at the Irishman. I´m sorry I don´t live close enough to attend the memorial.
