I knew Joe and his Mom from the Special Needs Mass at St. John Vianney. He was always very selective about who he prayed for. God bless him! We were privileged to have been part of his story.

Lucy and family- Although it has been several decades, when I heard of Joe´s passing I was saddened. Yet, at the same time. I was refreshed. Memories of long ago came rushing back. The hardness of the years, softened by the moment. I remember Joe as a young man who loved his family. But, most particularly, his love for you. It showed in every expressive way that he could muster. His eyes seemed to sparkle whenever you entered the room. It was a love that was pure and unrequited. There were no limits and no restrictions. It was just deep personal love. He taught me the lessons of life every time I saw his reaction.
There were so many other memories that flooded my mind. Memories that have made up the tapestry of my life. Memories that I am grateful for and never will forget. You and your family have always been in my thoughts.
So now, Cindy and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family. I hope the memories that Joe made and shared will forever warm your hearts and bring a smile to your faces. May those memories always be a blessing to you.
Godspeed to Joe on his journey to eternal life. He earned his place in heaven. May his light and love always shine down on all of you. God Bless.
