Joseph T. PILLITTERE

PILLITTERE - Joseph T. Former 138th District New York State Assemblyman, Joseph T. Pillittere, age 83, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 24th, 2016 in the Hospice Unit of Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda, NY. He was the loving son of the late Dominic and Grazia (Georginelli) Pillittere; beloved husband of the late Joan A. (Bella) Pillittere; loving father of Donald (late Lorijean) Pillittere, Michelle (Richard) George, Joseph Pillittere, Jr., Jennifer (Matthew) Korzelius and the late Georgine (James) Baldwin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Marida (Ethan) Peters and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Russell (late Irene) Pillittere, Vincent (Joan) Pillittere, Phyllis (Salvatore) Greco and David (Terry) Pillittere. Visitation will be on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 30th at 10:00 AM at St Peter's Church, 620 Center St., Lewiston, NY. Interment with Military Honors in Memorial Park Cemetery.
