Age 92, of North Buffalo, entered into rest on June 14, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Grace (nee Calandra) Sebastian; devoted father of Paula Sebastian and Samuel (Joan) Sebastian; cherished grandfather of Julianna Sebastian and Zachary Sebastian; loving son of the late Sabatino and Verna (nee Catalano) Sebastian; dear brother of Delores (late John) Mambrino and Maria (late Frederick) Bongiovanni; adored brother-in-law of Angeline (Pasquale) Morrone, Marie "Dee" (late Mario) Calandra and the late Thomas (late Josephine) Calandra, Santina Sciortino, Sarah (late Salvatore) Torre and Josephine (late Matthew) Liuzzi; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joe Nerves owned and operated Scotty's Tavern on Busti and Jersey for many years. He was also the President of the union at Linde Air and later was an International Union Rep for the Steelworkers Union where he was the primary arbitrator. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel, 885 Niagara Falls Blvd (near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr.) on Monday, June 17 from 3-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, 500 Parker Ave., Buffalo on Tuesday June 18 at 9:30AM (please assemble at church). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
