87, of Buffalo, entered into rest on November 23, 2023. Beloved wife of 62 years of Anthony "Tony" Anzalone; dearest mother of Karen Anzalone-Turello and Richard (Lisa nee Mendola) Anzalone; cherished grandmother of Jessica (Shea) (nee Turello) Durand, Samuel (Jessica) Anzalone, Richard (Jessica) Anzalone and Nicholas Anzalone; treasured great-grandmother of Dominic, Joseph, Malina and Vincent Anzalone and Lennox and Valen Durand; loving daughter of the late Jack and Angeline (nee DelPriore) Syracuse; dear sister of Richard (Lilly Lombardo) Syracuse and the late Margaret Syracuse. Judith will be missed by her many, many sisters- and brothers-in-law as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Susan L. and Eric M. Judith was a decades-long member of the WSLLFC, serving as both president, treasurer, and equipment manager. Judith was awarded a key to the City of Buffalo by Mayor Byron Brown in 2009 as well as having November 14th of each year forward be recognized as "Judith Anzalone Day" in the City of Buffalo. Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. (near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr.) on Thursday, November 30 from 2-8pm where prayers will be said Friday, December 1, at 8:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM at St. Amelia's Church, 2999 Eggert Rd. Dear Tony, it´s Annie, from next door at 247 ... I am so very sorry to hear about Judy. I was always so happy when I saw both of you on the porch when I had to stop at the property. You were both an inspiration to me as I could always feel the love you had for one another . Thank you for your neighborly kindness to me and my late husband, Al.
Yes, you will be together again. I wish you peace. Continue to surround yourself with the love of family and friends.

My condolences to Tony and family. Judy and I grew on Massachusetts St. on West side. Her mother and my Aunt Lucy were sisters. My Aunt was married to my mother´s brother. But Judy was at our house practically every day. She was lots of fun to be with and we certainly had some good times. RIP old friend.
