Age 62; beloved father of Julia M. Smith; dear brother of Katherine (Ken) Aiken, Keith (Diane) Smith; and cherished uncle of Kassidy, Jonathan, Robert and Kooper. Kenneth recently celebrated a 40 year career with the University at Buffalo. An avid photographer, Ken was always behind the lens, preserving special moments for others. A Visitation will be held on January 18, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.), where a Celebration of Life will follow at 12 p.m. The family would like to honor Ken's request for casual attire. A private interment will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to WNY Special Olympics located at 2821 Wehrle Drive, Suite 7, Williamsville, NY. Ken was not just my friend but family too!!!! Always loved seeing him at State games!!!! He always made me laugh and pumped up for my games!!!! I love his pictures!!! Love you Ken!!!!
