April 8, 2021, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 60 years to Lois (nee Cummins) McCormick; devoted father of Mary (Jeffrey) Collyer, Patricia (Donald) Pray, Lynn (Todd) Miller and Kathleen (Michael) Veronica; loving grandfather of Kaitlyn (2nd Lt. Eric Harrison USMC), Shannon (Capt Christopher McGue USAF), Meghan, Sarah, Lauren, Adam, Jacob, Ryan, Kayleigh, Erin and Samantha; dearest brother of the late Sherrel (Timothy) Krueger; also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will be present Friday April 16, 2021 from 4-8 PM at (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Drive (corner of Parker Blvd.) Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday April 17, 2021 at 11:30 AM at St. Christopher Church, 2260 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda. As you prepare to attend, please be mindful that Face Coverings and six foot separation are required at all times. Current capacity restrictions may cause delayed entry. Larry was a physical Education Teacher and coach for Sweet Home School District for 37 years and also coached countless girls teams for Parkview. He was an avid fan of his daughters, grandchildren and the local sports teams. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry's memory to Hospice Buffalo, Inc. I wasn't interested in sports at the time nor was I good at the time but Mr. McCormick never gave me a hard time about that which is why I always respected him as a man. R.I.P., sir.

Mr. McCormick was my gym teacher at Sweet Home elementary and a coach when I was in Basketball in High school. He had a profound influence on my life.I will miss him. He was a great person.
